Hey there, were you able to try the steps that Addy provided?

Hey Bill, are you using a Hub S purchased from us, or is this a Raspberry pi with the plugins installed?

Webcam Package (Canvas Hub S)

Installation Status: Unavailable - this device is not a CANVAS Hub S

I get this message when i try to use it. Reinstalling doesn’t help.

Hi @billschmitt, this is a small UI bug, but with the configuration for the webcam saved, you will still be able to connect to a USB camera.

1. Insert your webcam into the Hub

3. Go to Settings > Webcam/Timelapse to enter the stream and snapshot URL

An example correct URL should look like: ***http://xxxx-ch-canvas-hub.local:8081/?ac... where xxxx is your serial-number

If that is not working, please try entering the IP instead. An example correct IP URL looks like:

***http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8081/?action=stream... where xxx.xxx.x.xxx is your IP address

4. Save the webcam settings. Reboot Octoprint from the power options on the top-right

5. Go to the Webcam-Package plugin to enter and save the resolution and frame rate

6. Check the Control tab to see if you can preview the webcam

If the stream link is not working when you rebooted it, go into the Webcam-Package tab and press “Save Settings” once and check again. If it is still not working, try hard refreshing your browser (CMD + SHIFT + R on Mac, and CTRL + F5 on Windows)
